Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire

You will be picked up from your lodge/ hotel in Arusha and depart to Tarangire National Park for a game drive while carrying lunch boxes. Once you finish the game drive, you will be transferred to the lodge to relax, have dinner, and have your overnight stay.

The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River, which winds its way through the parklands and is the only water source for wildlife here during the dry season. Also, the park is well-known for its large elephant herds, giant scattered baobab trees, and tree-climbing African python. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna. You will get a chance to see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drives are complete, you will drive back to your lodge to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 2:  Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you from your hotel and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives with a picnic lunch. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its biodiversity. The park includes different environments: the lake, the forest and the plain. The lions climb trees because they don’t like wet soil due to underground springs. It is rich in primates, birds and big mammals. After game drives, we’ll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Mto mwa mbu cultural Tour

Today you will have the best experience at a small mto wa mbu town. Your guide will take you to. Bustling with a variety of cultures from around Tanzania, the little town of Mto Wa Mbu lies at the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park. A local agricultural hub, the town is famous for its crops of rice and the distinctive red bananas that Tanzania is known for. A half-day tour of the town in the company of a local guide gives travellers the opportunity to interact with local farmers, as well as artisans, craftsmen and painters. A sampling of the local banana beer adds a unique taste of local flavour.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Full Day

After breakfast, descend into the crater, enjoy 5 hours game drive in the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.

Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

After breakfast you drive back to Arusha for your flight arrangement.
